LOL! It’s like the Death Star.
I did this. My fat PS# now styles a 500gb drive. I never have to worry about memory space again.
But I didn’t have a smooth time installing it. Fist I had a hell of a time formatting my external hard drive to fat32. Then I had to get a USB drive with the a updated format to even format the new drive. And then all the time it took loading.
But everything is working perfectly. No problems at all.
I just need to get a sticker.

I upgraded my PS3 to a 500 gb hdd three months ago. At the time the hdd cost me about 90 dollars. One of the saved games came from a game that would not allow me to transfer the data so I had to go through my saved games and save them one at a time instead of doing the system backup. It is definately worth 90 dollars to never have to worry about storage space again.
