Unfortunately I detest peas but Im glad I stumbled on this video. Can you imagine if everyone did videos that could be saved for the family records? I keep meaing to write down things for the family record. So many things are lost like this.

Hi Clara, I just subscribed to your channel. My Great-Grandmother grew up in the depression as well, and she came from the Chicago area. She passed away a few years ago, but she told us a lot of stories about Depression- none of which made me envy her.

I live life on the edge. My wife complains about the risks I take, but I cannot help it. Whenever I am in a convenience store I buy a $1 scratch & win. I eat hydrogenated margarine instead of non-hydrogenated. I walk under ladders & step on sidewalk cracks. Worst of all, I participate in the most dangerous extreme sport known to man: Blindfolded ping pong. Ya I know what you are thinking, “this guy has got a death wish.” But I tell you, if I die tomorrow, at least I lived life to the fullest.
