There is the question of how do I get freebies or free samples? Will it cost me anything? In most cases the answer to if it will cost anything is no. You can get freebies just about anywhere you can think of. Most freebies are on the web, however there are places in many big cities that provide free services or give away free items.

One of the popular trends is free grant money. You can get free grant money for just about anything. If you want to go back to school, start a business, or if you need to remodel your home apply for a grant. It may sound strange but many successful people started out by applying for grants. You can apply for free grants online at grants.gov where it’s free to sign up and it’s free to apply. There is no minimum or maximum amount on how many grants you can apply for. However, remember it’s not guaranteed that your application will be approved.

Additionally you can get free stuff from popular online websites. Currently, online website Craigslist.com have a section called free stuff. Under this section they have everything from mobile homes, cars, toys, and clothes. Some of the freebies do require you to go pick the items up or have the items moved. Sometimes you can find dishwashers and washer and dryers for free as well.

There are also a lot of Salvation Army branches across the country, they will always offer assistance to families who have children and need help. They will usually listen to the reason behind why you need free clothing and possibly food if they have any food on hand. I was told by my mother that when I was two years old I burned down our house and the Salvation Army came by with clothes for both of us and a few bags of toys for me. Not to encourage anyone to burn down their house just to get freebies or anything. You should try to be honest when dealing with the Salvation Army and other places like the Goodwill. They both are basically the same and will help needy families and children.

Some hotel sites like Hotels.com offer you to sign up for free and when you book ten hotel stays your next hotel stay is free. There are a lot of offers out there like that. If you go to any site for hotels or apartments, most will either offer you a month of free rent, a hundred dollar rebate, or a free night or two in a hotel! This is part of their advertisement specials online. The organizations like these are allowed to give away so many rooms per year or so much money per year and this is how they use it to advertise. These are not tricks they really do give you your extra night in the hotel.

So hopefully this has demonstrated that you can receive freebies across a range of categories and different avenues.

Introduction To Freebies

When you are new to getting freebies and signing up, one thing I recommend is keeping a notebook handy. You will need one to write down the website you visited or store you went to. You also need to visit the contact us page and write down all of the contact information and the date you signed up and the ending trial ending period. Most of the things you will find that are free are actually based on a trial period so as long as you cancel within the trial period it’s yours. This is not to say that there is no such thing as free samples and things such as that.

However as I mentioned most of your free stuff are going to be based on free trials and free trial memberships or by earning points. There are also a lot of great places to visit for freebies like local churches. They have food pantries and you can get a lot of free food there. Also some organizations like Red Cross give free blankets and toys to needy children. If your family has just experienced a disaster let Red Cross know and they provide a lot of free services.

Most places that provide free services or free items require proof of income unless it’s done online. In most cases online websites unless applying for disaster relief do not require more than a name, phone number, address, and an email address. There is also a category on craigslist.com that has a section for free stuff. Some of the items featured in the free stuff section of craigslist.com include clothing, toys, cars and even mobile homes. Yep, some people give away their mobile homes online. That is only part of the great thing about searching for freebies both online and at stores. There are so many occasions to get some great freebies. I had a friend who used to take free mobile homes remodel them and the turn around and sell them for a few thousand dollars. A few things you can do with freebies are either resell them or use them for your own personal use. Either are acceptable you would just need to read the terms and conditions when applying for freebies online. Most places you visit at store locations that give you freebies do not have anything in the agreement preventing you from making a profit from the freebies they give you.

If you go to places please remember a phone call to see all eligibility requirements will save you a lot of time and a headache. You may run into an issue I had recently when I needed some free dental care and I was not eligible because I was unemployed and they wanted proof of employment. So as I mentioned each place may have different rules but there are many places to get free things from.
