Most Interesting Findings
Wow. Where do I begin? I think everything that could have gone wrong, did, in this episode of 365 Days of LOVE. I wanted to make an appreciation dinner for a group of my friends. No big deal, right? The problem is– I can’t cook. I wanted to show love by doing something totally outside of my comfort zone and, to me, cooking is in the twilight zone. Love is sacrifice– I’m willing to sacrifice my comfort to show love– as long as I didn’t poison anyone! I enlisted the help of some friends and created an ambitious menu of Chicken Katsu, Salad, and Curry. I was already feeling a little worried because of my less than par cooking skills, but watch what happens. Everything. Goes. Wrong. This week’s 365 Days of LOVE Challenge: Is cooking outside your comfort zone? Show someone you appreciate them by making them a homecooked meal. What did you end up making? Any funny reactions? I’m realizing that it is one thing to talk about love, but a whole other thing to live it. I must practice what I preach, not just talk about it, but be about it.
