5 Common Groups Of Travellers

Nowadays travelling is the most terrific thing ever created by mankind. Not only does travelling broaden the mind, but it also gives us the sense of living offering pleasure of sharing the world with millions of other nations. No doubt, it is in human nature to travel; however, in this fast moving world a new race of couch potatoes impregnated into the universe of their houses is developing. Those who have their hearts open to everything new like their ancient counterparts do love to travel. In fact, modern travellers fall into different types, each of which has their own needs, wishes and predilection. The comprehension of what type of traveller the person is can give a travel agent the chance to offer exactly what the person may wish. Let us talk about some of the most common types.

The first type of the basic type of traveller is the loafer who enjoys trip and vacation packages which will have everything from fitness procedures, food to excursions. These travellers prefer to spend their holidays at the sea or in some glamourous districts of cities. They will go on a spending spree on their holidays only for the sake of rest and the luxurious taste of life. The best offer to such a person will be a four or five star hotel with all-inclusive program. These travellers are unhurried and happy with their life, often dressed in expensive clothes.

The second type of the traveller may be referred to as an extreme person. Such men and women prefer extreme sports. They usually choose some season for their voyage which will suit their wish to quench their thirst for adrenalin. Naturally, they would like to go to places, where they can descend from some impassable point, look into the eyes of danger, dive into the deepest sea and so on. These travellers are handsome, fit and quite romantic looking.

The third type is the backpacker. This person will choose the places he or she can reach on foot. Undoubtedly, hiking or camping tour would please this person ideally. For some reason, these people mostly do not pay attention to what they wear and they always look as if they are set to start anywhere this very second.

Next type of travellers is known as pilgrims. These might be the people who travel to see some sacred place or cherished object, or simply travel to call on their relatives. They are all connected by one basic feature, they have a sacred task. These pilgrims usually look quite certain about the place they wish to visit and the aim of their journey.

And one more group to be discussed here is women travellers. Of course, we are not attempting to sound offensive here. Nonetheless, there is a cast of travellers that might consist of a single woman or a group of single women who will come to travel agent with a demand to take them somewhere. These travellers are rather tough to please and they often turn quite dissatisfied with even the most wonderful tour in the world.

At Jackson Hole Wyoming we understand what the individual approach to each traveller is and how to please the most demanding traveller.

Practice Of Feng Shui In Voyaging

Frankly speaking, Feng Shui is the oriental wisdom that tries to combine the heavenly with the earthly to create a certain field of positive energy around the individual. The wisdom descends from China and is mostly used for organization of one’s living and business areas in such a way as to attract the positive qi to the being of the person. The teaching is extremely popular in present Europe and Americas and lots of pieces of advice can be found in the Internet. And to top it, Feng Shui also deals with travelling experience and if practiced wisely can result in favorable trip.

Actually, people who voyaged with Feng Shui said that they seemed to indulge in the travel much more, were full of energy to cope with their itineraries and came back rested. Let us talk about some of the Feng Shui tips if you want to make a voyage.

Keep in mind that you should begin your travelling with Feng Shui with identifying from what spot you are about to start. In this case you have to look for the direction from the perspective of the place you travel to. For instance, if you reside in Portugal but travel to England, looking from Ireland, you will be coming from South-West direction. Because all people fall into two classes, the direction selected may either be favorable or not. To find out this you need to estimate the Kua number. This is simply done in the following manner:
You have to add the last two characters of the year you were born in. For example, if you were born on 30 June 1988, you calculate a sum of 8+8=16. If the number you get is greater than ten, add those two digits together, e.g. 1+6=7. Now males need to subtract the number you have got from 10, e.g.: 10-7=3; and women should add 5, e.g.: 7+5=12. For females, if you get a number that is greater than 10, sum the characters, e.g.: 1+2=3. Threfore, in our example, the Kua number for both men and females is 3.

East people will have the Kua number as 1, 3, 4, 9; and West people will have 2, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Ergo, if you are an East person with Kua number 3, and you are going from Portugal to Britain, you should wait for luck from the north and financial help from the south. So take care you have your meetings south-facing if you wait for money or north-facing if you require luck.

Besides, you have to do some common rituals depending on where you go to. For example, if you travel in southern direction, have a glass of water and wash your hands before you go out of the house. If you are travelling northward, throw some dirt into the way of the north before you leave. If you are travelling to the East, ring a bell seven times in the direction of the east, and if you are going on a journey westward, direct a lit candle into this direction. All these rituals promise wonderful voyage and success in your travelling experience.

Though we do not exercise Feng Shui practices in our work, at Jackson Hole Wyoming we do try to make your travel a pleasant and comfortable one.
